The Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policy set forth here is a declaration of the students' commitment upon commencement of the Martial Art Training offered by Gregory Soon: 1) All students must read and sign a Hold-Harmless Release Form prior to attending lessons and have been approved by their medical doctor to participate in martial arts activities. Lessons & Training are not recommended for people with pre-existing or chronic injuries. 2) Group Lessons are Open to men and women 18 years and up. Martial art experience is not necessary, but having had martial art experience is beneficial. Children ages 14 and up may attend regular adult classes with the signed consent of a parent. 3) There are no refunds for training dues once you have trained one or more days during any month. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis for injuries or illnesses. 4) Group Lessons Offer Basic Techniques & Instruction in the Martial Art Syllabus offered by Gregory Soon. Students who seek more intensive training & technical skill should inquire about private instruction. 5) Group Lessons are Martial in Spirit: All students are expected show courtesy & respect to the Instructor, the Training Space, and to Fellow Students. 6) Students are expected to participate in techniques such as front-rolls, back-falls, knee-walking, and techniques that involve joint-locks and throws. Some light break-falls may also be done in classes, though this is not required to be done by all students. 7) In order to progress in skill, Solo exercises are given for home practice. Students are recommended to do solo exercises at least 3 times per week outside of class. 8) Hygiene: As a courtesy to yourself and your training partners, please consider hygiene a top priority as a participant in training. Wash your hands (and feet if necessary) before class. 9) If you have a fever, runny nose, sore throat, persistent cough, or any other obvious cold/flu symptoms, Please refrain from taking class until your health is improved. Cancellation Policy: Groups Lessons: As a Courtesy, Please call or Email Gregory Soon at your earliest convenience if you are scheduled to attend a group lesson but are unable to make it to class. Private Lessons: There is a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy for Private Lessons.
